Take a dive into the incredible world of scuba diving. This Bubblemaker session allows your child to experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the first time. Under the direct care and supervision of a PADI Pro, your child will enjoy the experience of gliding weightless underwater in the safe, warm environment of the swimming pool. Using mini-sets of scuba gear designed just for children they will have great fun playing with underwater Frisbees and torpedoes; it’s a truly awesome experience, one they will never forget! Description

The Bubblemaker programme starts with a safety briefing for students and parents in the member’s lounge. Once completed we move to the poolside and assist participants with their equipment. We then enter the water which is shallow enough to stand in.

During the lesson, your child will be taught the basics of scuba diving which will include the following skills.

How to equalise ears
Breathe from a regulator
How to clear a regulator
How to clear a mask

After the skills have been mastered, we’ll have a little tour dive and then play with the underwater toys.
After the experience, your child will receive a Bubblemaker Certificate and card.

Once they’ve completed their Bubblemaker what’s next?
The fun doesn’t stop here! The PADI Seal Team is the next logical step and from there the PADI Master Seal Team. After their 10th birthday, they could then move onto PADI Junior Open Water Course.
