The PADI Open Water course is the ultimate ticket to scuba diving, once qualified you will be able to dive with a buddy of your choice anywhere in the world. The open water course is split into 2 parts

Part 1 (Open Water Referral)

• Meet water skills assessment requirements.
• Complete Confined Water (pool) Dives 1-5.
• Complete five knowledge development segments, including quizzes and final exams.

This option allows you to complete all your Academic and Confined Water training with us, and then finish your qualifying Open Water Dives with us or on holiday with another PADI dive centre

Academic options
1. PADI E-Learning, this option allows you to conduct all your knowledge development segments, including quizzes and final exams online. Once you have booked and paid for your course you will be sent a link to access all your online materials.
2. PADI Crew Pack, with this option you will be provided with a physical book, dive tables, logbook and DVD allowing you to learn the old way. In addition, you would then do your Quizzes and exams with your instructor in the member lounge.

Part 2 – Price £155 (+Lake entry fee £25)

• Complete Open Water Dives 1-4
This option is available to people who have completed their Open water referral with any PADI dive centre. During your PADI Open Water Part 1, you will be able to arrange Part 2 directly with your instructor to complete your 4 qualifying dives.

If you are aged 10 – 14 you would qualify as a PADI Junior Open Water diver, age 14 and above will be Qualified as a PADI Open Water diver.

The PADI Open Water Certification is the most widely recognised and respected scuba qualification in the world. During this course, you will learn all the skills you require to dive independently of a PADI dive professional to a maximum depth of 18 meters confidently and safely.
Your course will be taught by an experienced PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer who has been diving for more than 26 years.

17. Snorkel to Regulator Exchange
18. Fully Flooded Mask
19. Mask Removal & Replacement
20. Air Depletion & Signal
21. Mask Removal & Replacement for 1 Minute
22. Exit Using the Ladder
23. Cramp Release at the Surface (with a buddy)
24. Neutrally Buoyant (Fin Pivot LPI – Optional)
25. Cramp Release Underwater (with a buddy)
26. Hover for 30 seconds
27. Alternate Air Source Swim for 1 Minute (with a buddy)
28. CESA – Controlled Emergency Swimming Ascent
29. Tired Diver Tow 25 Meters
30. Scuba Unit Removal & Replacement at the Surface
31. Hover Orally Inflate for 1 Minute
32. Free Flowing Regulator for 30 Seconds
33. No Mask Swim
34. Emergency Weight Belt Drop
35. Weight Belt Removal and Replacement Underwater
36. Scuba Unit Removal and Replacement Underwater
37. PADI Mini Dive
38. PADI 5 Point Ascent
39. Orally Inflate the BCD at the Surface
40. Equipment Disassembly

After completing your water skills assessment, Confined Water (pool) Dives 1-5. five knowledge development segments, quizzes, and final exams. Your PADI Open Water referral will be signed off and you ready to do your 4 qualifying dives with us or on Holiday at a PADI Dive Centre of your choice.
